The bibliographic research service
The bibliographic research service has the role of promoting bibliographic research among users and assisting them in their scientific work by constantly updating collections, preparing indexes and research guides, and training users in methods of information retrieval from available sources and references. In this regard, this service must have the resources and equipment to prepare for any information requests in various disciplines and fields. Additionally, this service must have local and international databases in different specialties and languages. Consequently, this service is responsible for :

- Supervising the management of the “Lire” digital library by registering students and assisting them in searching the database.
- Managing the Library Management System (SYNGEB) and implementing technical and operational procedures, as well as preparing indexes and research guides.
- Creating a digital repository for theses and master’s dissertations (DSpace).
- Electronically depositing doctoral theses and master’s dissertations on the platform of the Common Catalog of Algerian Documentation (CCDZ) on the website of the Center for Research in Scientific and Technical Information (CERIST).
- Digitizing collections (theses, dissertations, final project papers, rare or unique books), taking into account copyright and intellectual property rights, to establish an electronic collection for accessibility purposes.
- Registering teachers and student researchers (second cycle – doctoral) in the national online documentation system (SNDL).
- Enrolling new students, first-year master’s students, and doctoral students in the central library.
