Within the framework of strengthening international cooperation and academic exchange relations between Algeria and the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Vice-Rectorate for External Relations informs all master’s graduates (or those enrolled in a doctorate) that the Directorate of Cooperation and University Exchange at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has received a PhD scholarship offer provided by the Egyptian government under the title “EGYAID” for the 2026-2027 academic year.
- Conditions and rules for candidacy:
- Target group: Master’s students who obtained their degree with averages that qualify them to pursue higher education, and who wish to enroll in the PhD phase.
- Fields of study: Various scientific, technical, and literary specializations available across Egyptian universities.
- Language of study: Professional Academic English or the approved language according to the required specialization.
- Registration steps and method: The registration and candidacy process for this scholarship is divided into two essential and crucial stages:
- First stage (Mandatory external registration): Students wishing to benefit from this offer must initiate preliminary registration and attach their files via the official electronic platform for the Egyptian scholarship “Study in Egypt” through the following link: http://admission.study-in-egypt.gov.eg (The final deadline to complete registration via the electronic platform is September 15, 2026).

- A copy of the master’s degree (or its equivalent).
