In implementation of the instructions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and within the framework of intensifying efforts aimed at opening up the university to its economic and social environment, Larbi Ben M’hidi University organized today, Tuesday, November 28, 2023, a business café activated by the “Biomast” Foundation, which specializes in biology, and whose main headquarters is located in the city of Ain mlila, Oum El Bouaghi. Biomast is the only company in Algeria and North Africa that produces certain types of biological reagents that are used by laboratories of all kinds in accordance with applicable international standards.
This meeting was supervised by the University Rector, Professor Zohir DIBI, in the presence of the University Vice Rector charge of External Relations, Professor Lamamra Kheireddine, and the Business Incubator Officer, Professor Mazouz Toufik, and in the presence of doctoral students and professors from the Faculty of Exact Sciences, Natural and Life Sciences, as well as students carrying innovative projects.
On Tuesday, January 30, 2024, the Rector of the University, Professor Zohir DIBI, supervised the opening of the “Business Café” demonstration, in the presence of the Vice-Rector charge of external relations, Professor Lamamra Kheireddine, as well as the official of the business incubator of Oum El Bouaghi University, Dr. Mazouz Toufik and the responsible Dr. Bouzid Siham, Technology and Innovation Support Center. The meeting was attended by professors and students from various colleges and institutes, as well as students holding innovative projects and emerging enterprise projects.
The economic partner is represented by: The Automotive Accessories and Spare Parts Installation Industry Foundation, FTB AUTO-PARTS – whose main headquarters is in the municipality of Ouled Kacem, Ain Mlila District – Oum El Bouaghi Province, represented by the company’s director and the company’s commercial officer.
The state secretary of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce of Oum El Bouaghi state also participated in this meeting.

Under the slogan “For an effective and sustainable partnership,” on Monday, February 12, 2024, in the university’s large lecture hall, in the presence of the university’s vice chancellor for external relations, the university’s business incubator official.
The demonstration is directed to students from the following categories: Owners of innovative projects registered under Resolution 1275, graduation memorandum from a start-up institution – a patent – a mini-enterprise – students who have obtained the designation and are in the process of establishing their start-up companies – all students interested in entrepreneurship and innovation.
The meeting included a session to answer various questions related to establishing institutions and an opportunity to interact with social and economic partners, such as the Biowas company, represented by its owner Hizam Fawzi, and the presence of a representative of FABCOM.
