Description:

The University of Larbi Ben M’hidi – Oum El Bouaghi is highly committed to expanding its green infrastructure as part of its sustainability master plan. The campus incorporates extensive networks of planted vegetation, managed lawns, open-air pedagogical gardens, and systematically aligned tree rows that serve both ecological and cooling purposes across the university landscape.

The planted vegetation areas are systematically distributed across the main university complex, surrounding the administrative buildings, central faculties, student common areas, and specialized laboratory zones. These green spaces are continuously maintained by the university’s infrastructure management teams to preserve regional biodiversity, combat soil erosion, and provide a sustainable microclimate on campus.

All claimed green zones highlighted in this document are verifiable through official architectural site plans, aerial satellite mapping, and localized landscape photographs attached below.

  • University Parking Spaces

There are several parking lots both at the central university level and within the various faculties. Typically, parking areas for teachers are separate from those designated for visitors, and they are often relatively far from lecture halls and classrooms. The parking facilities are free, well-guarded, and spacious to accommodate a large number of vehicles.
