On Thursday, December 22, 2022, the University Directorate’s meeting room hosted a crucial meeting of Oum El-Bouaghi University’s Board of Directors. The meeting was presided over by the University’s Rector, Prof. DIBI Zohir, and representatives from various executive bodies, members of the Board of Directors, elected members, teachers, student representatives, and employee representatives attended it. The Vice Chancellors, Secretary General of the University, deans of faculties, and directors of institutes were also present.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors, Pr. GOUASMIA Abdelkrim, opened the meeting; then, the University’s Rector delivered a welcome address, and then gave the floor to the Secretary-General. The Secretary-General presented the university’s expenditure budget for the year 2022, along with an overview of the activities undertaken throughout the year. Discussions also revolved around the financial project budget for the year 2023.
After thorough deliberations by the Council members, the draft management budget for 2023 was approved, along with the endorsement of a subsidiary project. The decisions made during the meeting will contribute to the university’s ongoing progress and development, as it continues to foster excellence in education, research, and overall academic pursuits.

The meeting room on the second floor at the University Directorate hosted the first regular session of the Board of Directors of Oum El Bouaghi University. Pr. GOUASMIA Abdelkrim, representing the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, chaired the meeting, which witnessed the presence of Prof. DIBI Zohir, the university director, members of the board representing various ministerial departments, elected representatives (professors, students’ representatives, and workers) as well as the university rector’s deputies, the university’s general secretary, deans of faculties, and directors of institutes.
