The square of Oum El Bouaghi University is visited by many local and national delegations to see the memorial monument of the martyr Mohamed Larbi Ben M’Hidi and celebrate his memory and struggle.

In addition, groups of school students come to learn about the heroes’ sacrifices and get acquainted with the history of their glorious homeland. The monument is also visited by official and popular delegations from different parts of the country on national occasions to pay tribute to the martyrs. The university administration welcomes these delegations and provides all facilities for them so that they can view the rare artifacts and documents related to the life of the heroic martyr and his struggles for Algeria’s independence.

  • The Museum of Oum El Bouaghi University

As part of a visit to the Museum of Oum El Bouaghi University, located in the 3000 complex, and commemorating the National Day of the Massacres of May 8th, 1945, the Museum of the ‘Mujahideen’, in coordination with the University of Oum El Bouaghi, the Religious Affairs Department, the Directorate of ‘Mujahideen’, and the Algerian Islamic Scout, organized a historical seminar. Local authorities also visited the Museum of the University and were impressed by it.
