Oum El-Bouaghi University is fully committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and inclusive campus environment for all members of its community. The university enforces a zero-tolerance policy toward any form of harassment—verbal, physical, or online—to ensure that everyone can study, work, and participate in university life free from intimidation or hostility.

Harassment is defined as any unwelcome behavior, comment, gesture, or action that creates an intimidating, hostile, or offensive environment for an individual or group based on their protected characteristics.

Key Principles of the Anti-Harassment Policy:

• Prohibited Conduct: The university strictly forbids all forms of harassment, including bullying, stalking, discriminatory remarks, offensive jokes, unwanted advances, or any action that violates the dignity and well-being of others.
• Reporting Mechanisms: Accessible and confidential reporting channels are available for anyone who experiences or witnesses harassment. Complaints may be submitted to designated university officials or through an online reporting platform.
• Investigation and Response: All reports are handled promptly and impartially. The university conducts thorough investigations and enforces appropriate corrective or disciplinary measures when necessary.
• Support and Resources: The university provides counseling, advocacy, and support services to assist those affected by harassment and to ensure they receive the necessary help and guidance.
• Education and Prevention: Regular training sessions, workshops, and awareness campaigns are organized to promote respect, understanding, and consent, while encouraging proactive prevention of harassment.
