I am pleased to share my experience at Martyr Larbi Ben M'hidi University in Oum El Bouaghi. The university community is committed to integrating international students within the campus, which has given me the opportunity to participate in various university activities supervised by the Sub-Directorate of Activities. I also serve as the representative of international students and the president of the International Cultural Pioneers Club, which showcases the diverse customs and traditions of students from different nationalities. There is continuous coordination between the International Students' Office and the representative of international students to address their concerns. With this letter I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to all the members of the Larbi Ben M'hidi University in Oum el Bouaghi where I spent part of my research stay. I have fond memories of this wonderful experience, where everyone, from the administrative staff to the youngest students, gave me happy moments of conviviality and important opportunities for professional exchange.
The University has shown its great quality, offering me useful hospitality services and important research advice for my field of study. I have gathered important evidence of Algerian professionalism, culture and society in Oum El Bouaghi, and I will do my best to create channels of scientific cooperation for teachers and students to and from the Universities of Sicily. I believe that the promotion and realisation of the Association Agreements signed between Algeria and the EU can be an excellent channel for promoting cooperation between the countries bordering the Mediterranean Sea.
I would therefore like to thank the staff of the Faculty of Economics, from the Dean Bouketir to Prof. Seffari, Prof. Baaloul and Prof. Djeffal, and the PhD student Bouras. A warm greeting to all the students who made my stay so friendly, almost as if I were among long-standing friends, and to the friends at the university residence, the A.R.E.N. group and the young people practising at the mosque. Thanks also to Prof. Arcou, director of the language centre, with whom I hope to set up a partnership to teach Italian and Arabic, also at a distance. I would also like to thank the Rector for his esteem and for the support he has given me in my activities. Finally, a special mention goes to Prof. Lamamra, who was able to follow the progress of my stay impeccably, allowing me to live this experience with all the tools necessary for a foreign student.
I'll finish with a suggestion for young students: study hard! This is a very important time in your life, and university is a breeding ground for new ideas. The new leaders of the future, new entrepreneurs and new professionals will be trained at university. You have an invaluable opportunity to enrich yourselves culturally, don't waste it!
