The University of Larbi Ben M’hidi confers academic degrees across three levels: Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD.

Bachelor’s Degree

1- Decree No. 171 of 09 February 2023 laying down the modalities for re-registration and registration in training to obtain bachelor’s and master’s degrees, state engineer and architect, as well as the methods of organization, evaluation and gradation thereof.

Master’s Degree

Doctoral Degree (Ph.D.)

  1. Description: A doctoral degree is the highest level of academic accomplishment, typically obtained after several years of specialized research and the completion of a dissertation.
  2. Entry requirements: To pursue a doctoral degree, students must have already obtained a master’s degree in the relevant specialization, in addition to meeting the baccalaureate requirements. They are also required to pass a competition for admission to the doctoral program. The availability of positions for this competition is determined annually through ministerial decisions aimed at enhancing university institutions.
  3. Study Mode: Blended (combination of on-campus and online learning).
  4. Program Type: Full-time.
  5. Duration: 3 Years.
  6. Fees Currency: Education is provided free of charge, including accommodation, food, transportation, and students also receive an additional grant.
  7. Employment after graduation: Depending on their area of specialization, individuals with a Ph.D. degree can pursue careers as university professors or researchers in research centers. They also have the opportunity to work in public or private institutions or establish their own projects.
