PAIS’22 Doctoral Consortium, In Conjunction with
4th International Conference on Pattern Analysis and
Intelligent Systems (Pais’2022)

The PAIS 2022 Doctoral Consortium aims to attract PhD students working on foundations, techniques, tools and applications in the computer sciences and related fields. More precisely, the Doctoral Consortium will provide students with an opportunity to:
─ Present their research work in a relaxed and supportive environment;
─ Receive constructive feedback and advice on their research project,
─ Meet and learn from senior academics across diverse disciplines related to the computer sciences field,
─ Interact with other PhD students and benefit from a stimulating exchange of ideas within the cohort of participants,
─ Discuss broader concerns related to a PhD study and post-PhD pathways.
To be eligible for the Doctoral Consortium, the candidate must be enrolled in the first year of the doctorate within a recognized research institution.
TOPICS OF INTEREST
All aspects of computer science and related fields, including Artificial Intelligence and Data Sciences, Computer Vision and Ambient, Intelligence, Technology Trends and Control Systems, Networks and Security, Internet of Things and social innovation.
DOCTORAL CONSORTIUM REQUIREMENTS AND RULES
The Doctoral Consortium is based on the following requirements and rules:
─ It is open only to Doctoral Students who have started their research (the candidate must be enrolled in the first year of the doctorate);
─ Submissions must have a single author, but the name of the supervisors should be mentioned in the paper (usually in the Acknowledgments section). All submitted materials must be in English
─ Each student with an accepted paper at the Doctoral Consortium must register and attend PAIS 2022;
─ Each paper must be presented by the PhD student;
─ Submissions will be judged mainly on relevance, originality, technical quality and clarity
─ Paper length: 2 pages including the following information:
- Research problem;
- Outline of objectives;
- Methodology and expected outcome;
- Idea or avenue of contribution to explore as part of the thesis question

Camera ready :
The main points to finalize your submission and guarantee your participation to the PAIS’22 Doctoral Consortium are as follows:
1) Paper finale version submission:
The final version of your article (Camera Ready) must be submitted via the following link (https://bit.ly/3DiZeZ7) before September 20, 2022.
2) Camera ready paper preparation:
To prepare the Camera-Ready paper, follow the reviewers’ comments sent to you by e-mail and make sure that you meet the guidelines of IEEE Templates : IEEE – Manuscript Templates for Conference Proceedings. Do not exceed the total number of pages, which is limited to 2-3 pages. No extra pages are accepted.
3) Registration Fees payment
The registration fees for PAIS’22 Doctoral Consortium are 3000 DA to be paid on site during registration on the conference day. Registration fees include:
(1) PAIS’22 Doctoral Consortium proceedings and conference materials,
(2) Attendance at all sessions and technical program,
(3) Coffee breaks and lunch during the conference days.
