Program name Academic Master in Materials Chemistry
Department of matter Sciences
Academic Master in Materials Chemistry
- Level: Master
- Domain: SCIENCE OF MATTER
- Field: Chemistry
- Specialty: Materials chemistry
- Program Description:
The chemistry of materials studies the relationship between the physicochemical properties, the structural morphology and the implementation of the materials that surround us (metals, polymers, ceramics, composites). Knowledge and mastery of microscopic phenomena (diffusion, arrangement of atoms, recrystallization, appearance of phases, etc.) allow the development of materials with the desired properties.
The Master’s degree in Materials Chemistry opens access to the doctoral competition in materials science, materials chemistry. It also allows students to apply for certain positions in the mineral industry, metallurgy, the cement industry, ceramics and the chemical industry. The knowledge acquired during the training allows students to perform the functions of laboratory engineer
in research laboratories. Finally, materials chemistry covers several industrial fields, support staff in research laboratories, educational laboratories and others.
- Entry Requirements
License specialties that can give access to the Master:
– Bachelor’s degree in materials chemistry
– Bachelor’s degree in analytical sciences
– Bachelor’s degree in basic chemistry
