Organizational structure of the faculty

The faculty is ” an educational and research unit of the University in the field of Science and knowledge”.

In particular, it performs the following tasks:

  • Composition in gradation and post-gradation
  • Scientific research activities
  • Continuous training activities, improvement of the level and renewal of knowledge.

It consists of departments and is also provided with a faculty council and a scientific council.

Dean of the faculty

He manages the college and is responsible for its operation and handles the management of its human, financial and material means, and in this capacity he:

  • He is the order to disburse the management credits delegated to him by the university president
  • Appoints College users for whom no other method of appointment has been decided
  • He assumes peaceful power and exercises it over all users placed under his authority
  • Attends college board meetings
  • Prepares the annual report of activities and sends it to the president of the University after approval by the college council.

He is assisted by two deputies, a general secretary of the faculty and heads of departments

Vice dean in charge of studies and issues related to students

It ensures the following:

  • Ensuring the management and follow-up of the registration of graduation students
  • Follow up the progress of education activities and take or propose each action in order to improve it to the dean
  • Maintaining the nominal and statistical list of students
  • Collecting, processing and disseminating pedagogical information for the benefit of students

Vice dean in charge of post-graduation, scientific research and external relations

It ensures the following:

  • Follow-up on the progress of post-graduation entrance exams
  • Taking or proposing the necessary measures to ensure the progress of the post-graduation training
  • Monitor the progress of the discussion of memoirs and post-graduation theses
  • Follow-up on the progress of scientific research activities
  • Initiating partnership with the social and economic sectors
  • Initiate actions to activate and support cooperation between national and international universities
  • Implementation of programs to improve the level of professors and renew their information
  • Follow-up of the Scientific Council of the college and the preservation of its archives

General secretary of the college

He takes care of the following:

  • Preparing a draft human resources management plan for the college and ensuring its implementation
  • Management of the professional path for college users
  • Ensuring the management and preservation of the archives and documentation of the college
  • Preparing the college budget project and ensuring its implementation
  • Promotion of scientific, cultural and sports activities for the benefit of students in coordination with the concerned bodies of the University Directorate
  • Managing the means of transportation and real estate of the college and ensuring its maintenance
  • Ensuring the implementation of the internal security plan of the college

Head of Department

The head of the department is responsible for the pedagogical and administrative functioning of the department and exercises peaceful authority over the employees placed under his responsibility.

He is assisted by two assistant department heads:

Assistant to the head of the department in charge of teaching and education in gradation

It performs the following tasks:

  • Follow-up of registration processes and re-registration of students in grading
  • Ensuring the good progress of Education
  • Ensure the proper conduct of exams and knowledge control tests

Assistant head of the department in charge of post-graduation and scientific research

It performs the following tasks:

  • Ensuring the progress of post-graduation education
  • Ensuring follow-up of research activities
  • Ensuring follow-up of the Scientific Committee on values
