Scientific Description of The Team’s Research Program
The team’s research theme, which is part of the development of non-polluting fuels, has two research components. The first concerns the modification of the composition of petroleum fuels and the gradual replacement of these fuels with alternative fuels. During this project, detailed kinetic studies will be carried out on the oxidation and combustion of methanol, ethanol, benzene, toluene and ethylbenzene as well as on some aliphatic hydrocarbons. The other component involves the study of the depollution of water contaminated by hydrocarbons using advanced oxidation techniques and ultrasound.
