Women’s Mentoring Schemes Participation
- Breast Cancer Awareness and Counseling Program
The University of Oum El Bouaghi annually conducts awareness campaigns throughout the month of October, known as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, to educate women about the risk factors for breast cancer and the vitality of early detection. In this regard, the participation of female students greatly exceeds 10%. An example of such an initiative is as follows:

Mohammed Boudiaf Hospital, organized a blood donation campaign in honor of the late student “Hanaa Hambli.”
🔹️ The campaign witnessed a significant turnout from students and the university community, with the presence of the President of the University, Professor Dibi Zohir, who praised such voluntary initiatives and encouraged students to engage in charitable and volunteer activities. Also present at the event were the University Director’s advisors, the University Secretary-General, the Sub-Director for Scientific, Cultural, and Sports Activities, and the Social Medical Center Manager. This initiative also included the distribution of informative and insightful brochures on early breast cancer detection.





- Diabetes Awareness and Counseling Program
In commemoration of World Diabetes Day, observed on November 14th every year, the Sub-Directorate of Activities at the University of Oum El Bouaghi, through the Bioart Club, organizes an awareness day in coordination with the Social Medical Center located adjacent to the central library.

This awareness day involved the participation of specialized doctors and professors from the university’s Social Medical Center, as well as a significant percentage of female students, representing the majority.
