Smoke-free Policy
The university follows strict regulations regarding smoking. It prohibits smoking in indoor spaces in order to protect the health of the inner community.
- Instruction on the prohibition of smoking in public places, Executive Decree No. 01-285 of 6 Rajab 1422 corresponding to September 24, 2001, laying down the public places where tobacco use is prohibited and the modalities for the application of this prohibition
- Prevention and reduction measures for tobacco substances under inter-ministerial instructions, Decree No. 725 of June 21, 2016, laying down the modalities for the application of the prohibition of tobacco smoking in institutions and structures of the higher education and scientific research sector. In the post-Covid-19 period, the university adopted a new strategy in preventing tobacco use in closed spaces while allowing it in open spaces and outdoors.
