Encouragement of Female Applications in Underrepresented Fields

The University of Oum El Bouaghi makes significant efforts to encourage female students to enroll in fields where women are traditionally underrepresented, such as science and technology, as well as architecture, urban planning, and city professions. Through its guidance policies and academic support, the university has witnessed a notable increase in the number of female students in these fields, reflecting the success of its strategy in promoting women’s participation in disciplines that have traditionally been male-dominated.

For instance, in the fields of architecture, urban planning, and city professions, the number of female students has reached 245 out of a total of 462 students, demonstrating the effectiveness of the university’s incentive programs. These efforts contribute to empowering women and enhancing diversity across various academic disciplines, reinforcing the university’s position as an inclusive and supportive educational environment.
