University Measures Towards Affordable Clean Energy – Energy Efficiency Plan
The University of Oum El Bouaghi has demonstrated a strong will to play a key role in reducing energy consumption. To this end, the university has instigated a well-structured strategy to optimize energy expenditure within its environment. Through the implementation of energy-saving initiatives, such as lighting upgrades, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) system optimization, and smart building technologies, the institution aims to significantly curtail energy consumption. Additionally, the university frequently familiarizes its community through all means possible such as study days, conferences, roundtables with the importance of saving energy in order to save the planet and reduce the aftermath of climate change. In short, it aspires to establish a longstanding culture of sustainability. Moreover, the university persistently follows up the performance of its measures heading towards energy efficiency in order to ensure good conduct and successful implementation of the energy agenda, and therefore to create a more ecofriendly and economically sustainable campus.
