Breast Cancer Awareness and Counseling Program

The University of Oum El Bouaghi annually conducts awareness campaigns throughout the month of October, known as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, to educate women about the risk factors for breast cancer and the vitality of early detection. In this regard, the participation of female students greatly exceeds 10%. An example of such an initiative is as follows:

As part of Pink October dedicated to breast cancer awareness and the associated awareness and voluntary activities, the Sub-Directorate of Scientific, Cultural, and Sports Activities, through the Creative Club, in coordination with the Amusement and Recreation Center of Oum El Bouaghi and the Nova Club, as well as in coordination with the Blood Donation

Center at Mohammed Boudiaf Hospital, organized a blood donation campaign in honor of the late student “Hanaa Hambli.”

🔹️ The campaign witnessed a significant turnout from students and the university community, with the presence of the President of the University, Professor Dr. Dib Zouhir, who praised such voluntary initiatives and encouraged students to engage in charitable and volunteer activities. Also present at the event were the University Director’s advisors, the University Secretary-General, the Sub-Director for Scientific, Cultural, and Sports Activities, and the Social Medical Center Manager.
