L\u2019UNESCO<\/span>\u00a0invite les \u00c9tats membres de l\u2019Organisation, ainsi que des personnes physiques et\/ou morales int\u00e9ress\u00e9es, \u00e0 soumettre une ou plusieurs candidatures au\u00a0Prix F\u00e9lix Houphou\u00ebt-Boigny<\/strong> \u2013 UNESCO<\/span> pour la recherche de la paix. L\u2019UNESCO<\/span> entend ainsi\u00a0honorer les personnes vivantes, institutions ou organismes publics ou priv\u00e9s en activit\u00e9, ayant contribu\u00e9, de mani\u00e8re significative, \u00e0 la promotion, \u00e0 la recherche, \u00e0 la sauvegarde ou au maintien de la paix, dans le respect de la Charte des Nations Unies et de l\u2019Acte constitutif de l\u2019UNESCO<\/span>.\u00a0<\/p>

Les candidats propos\u00e9s doivent jouir d\u2019une r\u00e9putation internationale. Leur engagement dans le domaine des droits humains, dans la promotion de la culture de la paix, les efforts qu\u2019ils y d\u00e9ploient, leur humanisme, ind\u00e9pendamment de toutes consid\u00e9rations ethniques, politiques et religieuses, doivent constituer des \u00e9l\u00e9ments notables de leur dossier de pr\u00e9sentation. Il est possible de proposer plusieurs candidatures. Dot\u00e9 d\u2019un montant de 150 000 dollars, r\u00e9parti \u00e0 parts \u00e9gales le cas \u00e9ch\u00e9ant entre les laur\u00e9ats, au nombre de trois au maximum,\u00a0l<\/span><\/span>e Prix F\u00e9lix Houphou\u00ebt-Boigny<\/span><\/span><\/a>, qui porte le nom du premier Pr\u00e9sident de la C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire, a \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9 en 1989\u00a0et est d\u00e9cern\u00e9 tous les deux ans.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
