Interests and Qualifications<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Interests:<\/strong> My research interests focus on immunology which is a rapidly evolving discipline. The explosion of knowledge in many areas in recent years: innate immunity, inflammation, antigen presentation, chemokines, immune tolerance, signaling pathways that have been deciphered for many receptors. Significant progress has been made in understanding the dysfunctions of the immune system: autoimmunity, immune deficiency, allergies. Monoclonal antibodies are now used in cancer therapy or in autoimmune diseases without forgetting vaccines; the development of the latter against infections has been one of the great successes of immunology. Many diseases have been largely controlled through vaccination, it is estimated that more than 2 to 3 million deaths per year are prevented through vaccination<\/p>\n\n\n\n
