Le travail de l\u2019\u00e9quipe commence \u00e0 la source de ces \u00e9missions \u00e0 savoir la dynamique des \u00e9coulements, avec ou sans r\u00e9action (combustion), dans diff\u00e9rentes machines. Ensuite, on vise \u00e0 optimiser la combustion \u00e0 la fois par l\u2019utilisation du mode pauvre ou sans flammes, et aussi par la combustion des fuels \u00ab bon march\u00e9 \u00bb \u00e0 bas pouvoirs calorifique tels que le biogaz et le syngaz. Ces derniers ont des gisements abondants en Alg\u00e9rie, on cite par exemple les stations de traitement des eaux us\u00e9s et de d\u00e9p\u00f4t des d\u00e9chets m\u00e9nagers.
