research components. The first concerns the modification of the composition of petroleum fuels and the gradual replacement of these fuels with alternative fuels. During this project, detailed kinetic studies will be carried out on the oxidation and combustion of methanol, ethanol, benzene, toluene and ethylbenzene as well as on some aliphatic hydrocarbons.
