The common trunk includes theoretical and practical lessons covering most of the basic subjects necessary in biology in addition to the general subjects essential to the experimental sciences such as physics, chemistry, mathematics and languages.

- Entrance on title in semester 1 for holders of the baccalaureate;
- Admission on equivalence of credits and subjects after opinion of the educational commission.
