Exploration of new water purification techniques

Goals :

Unlike conventional water treatment techniques, which consume large amounts of energy and emit greenhouse gases, solar stills have the advantage of being simple, easy to implement and inexpensive. However, they have the big disadvantage of low production. This prompted researchers to make, test and develop new generations of more advanced stills.

In this context, our research work aims at the rational use of energy heritage in several disciplines, such as: water treatment, solar desalination.

On the other hand, among the techniques developed recently and which are of particular interest to us, membrane filtration combined with conventional separation methods such as adsorption, distillation or solvent extraction and advanced oxidation processes used in particular for the degradation of non-biodegradable organic pollutants.
